Scott and I are privileged to have 4 beautiful children, and because we do,
sometimes it’s tough for them to get the individual attention
We have done our best to spend one on one time with each of them.
Scott does “daddy/daughter dates” and “boys day out”
and I try to do
“girls day out” and hope to do a “mom/son date”
with our young son soon.
Still, most of what we do is usually as
Although we have tons of fun all together
and we are making wonderful family memories,
we still want
our children to know that they are important to us as individuals.
They are each unique and possess beautiful qualities
that make them who they are.
Therefore, my husband and I have decided to
write each of them
a “blessing” individually to honor each one.
To Caitlyn, our first born child, our blessing.
You first taught us to love and care for a child. Given by God and entrusted to us,
we point you now and forever to your Creator.
Before the foundation of the earth, God Almighty planned for your life
and planned for you to be a godly woman.
Psalm 139 says that He created your inmost being.
You are fearfully and wonderfully made.
All of the days of your life have been ordained and written by the Holy Fingers
of God before you were ever born.
God has made you with such a caring heart and has given you beautiful
talents, such as singing and playing piano,
to use for His glory.
We feel so blessed to be your parents and watch you grow into
the beautiful, young lady that God has called you to be.
You have been set apart from the world
to live a godly life and bring glory to the
One who has created you.
We pray that you love the Lord always and live to please Him every day that you live.
We pray that you continue
to grow in the likeness of Christ
and display the fruits of a virtuous woman.
Our prayer is that you always walk in obedience to all that the Lord has commanded
and follow Him down paths of
Where ever you go, what ever you do, never forget that the
most important thing about this life
is to be prepared for life eternal.
Never forget that we love you more than words can say
and that your Heavenly Father loves you even more!
Romans 8 tells us that nothing can ever separate us from the love that God has for us.
You are forever loved!
Proverbs 31 tells us that favour is deceitful and beauty is vain
but a woman
that fears the Lord shall be praised.
Don’t let this world determine your worth, always look to Christ
and The Holy Word to understand your value.
You are beautiful!
You are valuable!
We bless you with God’s everlasting love, wisdom, peace and joy.
May God continue to keep His hand over you and prosper you in all that you do.
We pray that you serve our Lord, Jesus Christ, all the days
of your life.
Love Always, Mom and Dad ❤
